If during operation the middle trough of the scraper conveyor shows an up-and-down undulating angle, it means that it's very easy to cause damage to the overlap plates. The bending connection plates supporting the forged rail base on the cast baffle trough are also areas that need attention in daily use. Because there can be times when the connection strength is relatively low, using it in the conveyor trough may lead to a shorter lifespan. Facing this situation is also a test for sprocket assembly manufacturers, who need to do their best to overcome such issues.

For sprocket assemblies in normal use, the market actually still has quite a few manufacturers. If people don’t pay attention to selecting high-quality sprocket assemblies when buying, they are naturally more likely to experience wear in later use. When using a scraper conveyor, it's important to pay attention to the quality of its parts. First, the materials should be reasonably chosen based on the underground environment and the part's usage location. Only by starting from the actual needs can we have a good user experience, right? Once the equipment is chosen, strict technical processing and manufacturing must be carried out to produce qualified products.

Moreover, when installing the sprocket assembly, each of the two bearing seats needs to be placed on either side of the head frame. Then the sprocket assembly is secured to the head using locating pins. If you can master this operation, not only will the service life be extended, but installation will also be much easier. At this point, the anti-rust layer around the shaft end splines also needs to be cleaned thoroughly. Only if we take good care of it during daily use can the sprocket assembly perform optimally. After cleaning, apply a layer of grease on it. This way, after assembly, industrial gear oil can be injected into the gearbox through the oil hole of the sprocket assembly, protecting it and ensuring normal operation.
